Cookie Policy

This policy explains how PureWildwood uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, what they do, and how you can control them at any time.

Last updated: 1 January 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve efficiency, and to provide information to the site owner. Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by other organisations whose services are used on that site (third-party cookies). Similar technologies such as pixels and local storage may perform comparable functions, and references to cookies in this policy include these technologies.

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies to keep our website functioning correctly, to remember the choices you make, to understand how our morning routines and guides are read, and to improve the overall experience. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site to operate, while others help us measure and refine what we offer. We do not use cookies to build profiles for advertising purposes.

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for you to move around the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas and remembering the privacy choices you have made. Without these cookies the services you have asked for cannot be provided. Because they are essential, these cookies cannot be switched off through our settings control.

4. Performance and Analytics Cookies

These cookies collect anonymous, aggregated information about how visitors use our website, such as which pages are visited most often and whether visitors encounter errors. They help us understand which routines are most useful and where we can improve. The information these cookies collect does not directly identify you.

5. Preference Cookies

These cookies allow the website to remember choices you make, such as your preferred settings, so that we can provide a more personal experience. The information they store is used only to deliver the features you have chosen and is not shared for any other purpose.

6. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies may be set by trusted third parties who provide services on our behalf, such as analytics providers. These providers are contractually required to use the information only to deliver their services to us and to keep it secure. We do not permit them to use the information for their own independent purposes.

7. How Long Cookies Last

Cookies may be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them. We keep persistent cookies only for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose for which they were set.

8. Managing Your Cookie Choices

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings control available on every page of our website. When you first visit, we present a banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or open the settings to make a detailed choice. You may change your decision whenever you wish.

9. Controlling Cookies in Your Browser

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can usually block or delete cookies, and set your browser to warn you before accepting them. Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of our website may not function as intended. Instructions for managing cookies are available in the help section of your browser.

10. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" feature that signals a preference not to be tracked. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, our website does not currently respond to them. We continue to give you meaningful control over cookies through the settings described above.

11. What We Store at Present

Although this policy describes several categories, PureWildwood does not currently run any analytics, advertising or social-media cookies on the website. The only item we save is your response to the cookie banner, kept in your browser’s local storage under a key beginning with “wh_consent_”. It remembers which categories you allowed so the banner stays out of your way on early-morning visits.

Any optional tool we add later — for instance, to see which routines and guides are read most — will stay switched off until you allow it, and this page will be updated first.

12. Fonts Loaded from Google

Our typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. No cookie is set by this request and Google states it does not use the information for advertising, but it is a third-party connection and we want you to know it happens.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

14. Contact Us
